Favorite things

I found these Headbands at Target while school shopping. Brynna had wanted a cat ear headband and we could only find them on etsy so, when I found these we snatched then up. The headbands are in the infant section but they fit my 6 year old and 1.5 year old. These headbands just give that extra something to the outfit!

I also need new mascara and I fell for this! It makes your lashes very voluminous without any clumps and doesn't flake. Looks like falsies without having to do all the work! I like how flimsy the brush is (keeps me from poking my eye ;-)) Haha

You should all definitely give this mascara a try and excited to read all your favorites.

Friday favorites

Ice cream

My favorite thing this week has to be getting ice cream with the kids.

We have the most perfect Lilly ice cream shoppe in the neighboring town and we frequent it many times a year.

My children bonding

My kids have spent a lot of time together this summer, which is the case every summer, but this year Bryella can keep up! 

She absolutely loves her brother and sister and wants to do exactly what they do! In fact this morning I caught Bryce kissing Bryellas owie.

Cards Against Humanity

I may be late on this game but I have never laughed so much!

It's great to see people's sense of humor!!! Has anyone else played this?

Fridays favorites

I am thankful for a positive attitude this week. So many people are battling so much more than I am and I am happy I am capable if finding the positives in many situations.

Opening the Door to Your God Sized Dream. This book is a great read! I am loving the feeling I have after I read each chapter every morning.

Ah my moms lake house..... We love spending time here, the company, lake, jet skis, sand bar, water trampoline, we couldn't be happier ;-)

Havaianas I love these flip flops! I can walk forever and never have sore feet or get a headache ( which I sometimes do from shoes with no support).

Weekend festival

We enjoy hitting up small town festivals all summer long but our favorites occur at the end of summer.

This weekend we went to Otter Fest. It was Bryellas first time playing games. She's hard to keep still and loves doing what the big kids do. These games were perfect to keep her happy! And boy did she have many helpers! :-)

Mad dash for candy!

Since all my children have winter ish birthdays my mom decided to celebrate their birthdays this summer so she could be involved. #snowbird My kids loved it though! Definitely made me wish one of my kids had a summer birthday as a warm swimming party is just way more fun than a cold ice skating party!

Bryella enjoyed her cupcake but not the sticky mess at the end ;)

Hope to enjoy this weekend as much as last!

Mishmash

We have one month of summer vacation left! I feel like summer flew by but then I look at other families and they only have two weeks left! Crazy!

We are all going to be sad when summer ends!

My prima ballerina. She has the most eclectic tats and I love it. She somehow pulls everything off!

Sand castles. We spend a lot of time making castles and Godzilla aka bryella always steps on them.

Favorite things

I am linking up with to share a few of my favorite things that help us get through summer.

Seems like all we do during the summer is make messes :) and play in the lake!

This soap is my absolute favorite for cleaning up little hands. They love the foam and smell and I love that I don't have to argue with anyone to wash their hands.

I usually pick up glitter glue at the dollar store and the kids go wild with it. It ends up everywhere!

We love Popsicles! This mold (ikea) has been great. The kids out everything in these. Our next recipe to try is the gummy bear and sprite ones. 

With all those days at the beach there are a ton of adorable photo ops. I really like using Instagram to catch them.

Fridays favorites

My absolute favorite thing this week was that I only had to work one day! Which meant a lot of lake time with the babes! And me turning into a crab (I misplaced my sunscreen). Totally worth it though!

We have started preparing for the first day of school. Purchasing supplies and clothes is the fun part :) I love shopping at The Childrens Place. They always have such good deals.

I also bought this adorable cookie cutter! I plan on using it for everything including sandwiches, fruit, cheese and meat, tortillas.... Endless possibilities!
